What is Lapis Lazuli?

Lapis Lazuli is a deep blue metamorphic rock used as a semi-precious stone. The main mineral component is Lazurite a blue Feldspathoid Silicate Mineral, whilst also containing Calcite, Sodalite, and Pyrite. Other samples can contain Augite, Diopside, Enstatite, Mica, Hauynite, Hornblende, Nosean, and Suplher-rich löllingite geyerite.

Healing Properties?

Lapis Lazuli is said to be the Stone of Truth and Friendship.

For use in healing it is said that Lapis Lazuli stands for Trust and that wearing it can help for deeper modes of communication, as well as a deeper connection to friendships and relationships. It enhances problem solving skills, and allows for further intellectual thinking and memory enhancing.
