What is Jasper?

Jasper is aggregate of microgranular Quartz and/or Chalcedony and other mineral phases, is an opaque, impure variety of silica, and comes in a variety of colours caused by inclusions.

Healing Properties?

Picture Jasper is said to be the Stone of Earth.

For use in healing it is said that Picture Jasper is meant to have an immeasurable connection to the earth which link it to the electromagnetic fields and energy of the earth. This is said to assist greatly with meditation allowing deep concentration and the connection of conciousness between you and the earth. It is said to be a nurturing, protective stone which helps dissipate fear and enhance comfort.
